How the guides are made
The steps follow Google’s Android and Chrome help, the phone makers’ own support pages, and published research from security companies such as Zimperium and Bitdefender, whose adware findings also feed the app’s signed definitions. Settings menus change between phone versions, so each guide says when it was last updated, and points to the Settings search when a menu name doesn’t match.
